These ready-to-run cars feature prepainted and lettered, injection-molded styrene bodies. Models include free-rolling Delrin(R) trucks with contoured axles, truck-mounted Magne-Matic couplers and diecast metal underframes. Narrow-gauge cars operate on Marklin and other Z-Gauge track.
This 30′ box car with single door is box car red with white lettering and carries a colorful logo in orange, blue and white. Built by Barney and Smith Car Company of Dayton, Ohio, 1026 was from a group of 29 box cars at the time of the company’s reorganization in 1904. Lasting only five more years, the Colorado and Northwestern was reorganized as the Denver, Boulder and Western. Failing in 1917, the line was removed in 1920.
