>These models are accurate replicas of the prototypes and feature fine paint and lettering and a swinging drawbar system with Accumate® knuckle couplers that allows operation on sharp layout curves. The cars also feature etched-metal coupler walkovers and end railings for extra authenticity. Both double-door and quad-door versions are available as appropriate for each roadname.
 
Built especially to move big and bulky auto parts, these 86′ boxcars are based on Pullman-Standard prototypes used by a number of different auto makers and railroads, The cars feature injection molded plastic bodies, etched metal details, operating knuckle couplers, accurately appearing trucks and cushion draft gear enclosures. Cars will operate on an 11″ radius curve as delivered but come with a “lift-kit” for operation on even tighter curves.
